Refund policy

Introduction

This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which Kindra DNA Testing provides refunds, replacements and exchanges for test kits and services. We want you to feel confident ordering from us, and this policy is designed to be fair and transparent.

Unused kits

If you change your mind, unused and unopened test kits may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. To be eligible, the kit must be in its original packaging with all seals intact.

To request a return, contact us at support@kindradna.com with your order number and we will provide return instructions.

Opened kits

Once a kit has been opened it cannot be returned or refunded for hygiene and integrity reasons, even if the sample has not been collected.

Damaged or incomplete kits

If your kit arrives damaged, incomplete or with missing components, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will send a replacement kit at no additional cost.

Collection errors

If you make a mistake during sample collection, contact us immediately. We will send a free replacement kit. Please do not return a sample you are not confident about, as this may result in an inconclusive result.

Inconclusive results

In rare cases a result may be inconclusive due to sample quality issues outside of your control. If this happens, we will provide a free replacement kit and process your new sample at no additional cost. There is no refund for the original test in this case, as the laboratory analysis was still performed.

Once testing has begun

Once your sample has been received and processing has begun at our laboratory, the test fee is non-refundable, as laboratory analysis incurs immediate cost regardless of the outcome.

Legal and immigration tests

Due to the appointment-based nature of legal and immigration testing, cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel.

Refund processing

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
